Not All Bad
Life isn't all bad, you know. As evidence, let me present some spindle-spinning.
Yah, "harangued." Ha! Only if haranguing means me pulling it out and saying, "Here, take this." Silly woman. Don't you go giving people the idea that they can harangue me into giving them fiber!
I like the idea of haranguing Marcy into giving me silk. Shame I'm so far away. Also a shame because if I were closer I could harangue you into walking with us. I could try anyway: go for a walk and tell me about it here, with pictures. Please?
Fellow fiber junkie here... I have a drop spindle (that I've had for ten years, at least) and I have yet to learn to use it. Seeing such lovely spun threads makes me itch to discover the art of spinning. I have it on my list of things I absolutely MUST master before I die (hopefully sooner than later). Enjoyed my visit to your blog.

Accomplishment is an antidote to malaise. Your colors are beautiful. If I nag Marcy will she give me silk?
